The WINGATE industrial/retail village built by GWELO Investments, combines industrial warehouses and workshops with an immediate retail frontage.
Gwelo Developments responded to the strong demand for quality office space in Darwin’s CBD with the Construction of the Woods Street Commercial Building and the Jacana House Office building, located side by side on the Corner of Woods and Knuckey Street in the Darwin CBD. Together these buildings will bring approximately 17000 square meters of Premium Grade office accommodation to the Darwin market.
The Cascom Centre included 7 Buildings with 11000sqm of lettable Office space. Fit outs to Government lease standards were completed in all buildings and both Commonwealth and NT Government entities took up all available space with long-term leases.
The Bureau of Meteorology building included the provision of a complex rooftop tower structure to house sensitive equipment.

GWELO is developing a concept for 2 major CBD sites conjointly. “The Icon” (old Woolworth's site) and the Stone House heritage site in Cavenagh street. This will be an exciting project for the Darwin CBD and will take a number of years to plan and implement through the planning systems and concept approval.
In the interm, Gwelo has completed a refurbishment to the interior and exterior of the existing building, creating an inviting space currently occupied by 15 tenancies.
Our latest project - Jacana House is a 9 level commercial office development located in the Darwin CBD. Jacana House consists of approximately 9,600 square meters of Net Lettable Area together with secure basement car parking and commercial space on the ground floor. Jacana House is due for completion in mid 2009.
